Secured by Design Doorsets
Secured By Design (SBD) is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of "designing out crime" through the use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications.
SBD is owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and is supported by the Home Office and the Planning Section of Communities and Local Government (CLG), as well as many Local Authorities across the UK.
Secured By Design (SBD) has been increasing its influence over recent years. Initially a two page reference guide for social and private new build developers it has become an all encompassing design brief which designs crime reducing products into buildings and site layout.
The Anosecure FD30 Secured By Design doorset is specifically developed by Hanson and Beards Ltd to meet the complex performance demands of social and private new build apartment entrance locations.
