Acoustic Doorsets

Part E (England & Wales) of the Building Regulation deals with sound insulation within buildings, the regulations, unlike previous requirements, apply to both new build and refurbishment or conversion projects on all types of dwellings including, flats and apartments, semi-detached and terraced housing, hotels, hostels, nursing homes and student accommodation.

In schools a slightly more stringent acoustic performance is required as set out in E4 & Building Bulletin 93.

Anosound doorsets have been designed to incorporating the latest acoustic seals to enable specifiers, contractors and developers to comply with the Approved Document E without compromising other requirements for fire resistance, smoke control, mechanical strength and durability.

Typical Anosound doorsets can be supplied with acoustic ratings up to and including 43dB.
