| // ABOUT US - and what we do. Mr Peter Hanson and Mr Les Beards formed a partnership in Leeds in 1972, and from humble beginnings the company has grown steadily over the last 35 years. We now occupy a large 45000 sq ft factory in Halifax Our skilled craftsmen manufacture all types of standard and bespoke joinery, including windows, door casings, shop fronts etc. Not only do we manufacture standard joinery items to the industry, we also manufacture bespoke joinery items, including counters & doors. We pride ourselves on only supplying high quality joinery, and offer lead times not possible by many of our competitors. We work with specifiers, architects, construction firms and merchants providing a wealth of knowledge in the manufacturing industry. Based in West Yorkshire, we supply our products to the whole of the UK and Northern Ireland. We have our own fleet of delivery vehicles, allowing for rapid despatch & delivery in keeping with our company ethos and standards. We are members of the BWF Certifire Door and Doorset Scheme. This allows us to manufacture Certified fire doors, both in FD30 and FD60 fire ratings. This also allows us to cut, bead and glaze apertures in certified doors, whilst retaining its certification. It also allows us to manufacture Certified fire door frames, meaning we can supply complete pre-hung door sets, including glazed doors, frames, ironmongery etc. This website will give you an insight into our company, its products, and the team.
